The 9-month growth spurt can arrive while baby is crawling, pulling up, or cutting teeth. Appetite, sleep and mood may bounce for a short stretch.
What to expect
- Hungrier milk and food days.
- More restlessness or clinging.
- A few disrupted nights.
What can help
- Offer regular meals and milk, without a fight.
- Keep teething comfort simple: a clean, chilled teether.
- Fever or a baby who seems ill needs another explanation.
